I partecipated in HackFS a two week hackathon organized by EthGlobal.

We created a proof of concept to experiment with payment streams linked to real world events.

It was a fun experience working with an international team split between 4 different timezones.

I mainly worked on the integration with Superfluid, a payment streaming protocol, developing a smart contract that increased or decreased the amount paid every second in response to some offchain events.

I am collaborating with an Italian collective of artists experimenting with NFTs. I developed part of the NFT marketplace and the smart contract for the project deployed on a public blockchain, xDaiChain.

The project also has a DeFI component: each NFT can be converted with an ERC20 token ($SNAFU) according to his rarity.

I developed an ERC721 token smart contract for a growing startup that deals with verification of authenticity of purchases, such as jerseys worn by football players.

The basic ERC712 smart contract capabilities were extended to allow the storage of additional information directly on the blockchain and an access control system was implemented to differentiate three different types of users.

A web application to operate the smart contract and a wallet mobile app were also developed.

Project Description

For my master thesis I studied the scalability issues of blockchain-based applications.

Starting from my Ethereum Data Channel project, I implemented a state channel solution applicable to two player games.

My solution allows games with randomness thanks to an optimized commit-reveal scheme and just requires two transactions to be made on chain in the optimal case for the whole game: only if the players don’t agree on updating the game state there is the need to interact with the blockchain used as judge.

The smart contracts are designed in a modular way: to create new games you just need to implement the smart contract that enforce the game rules according to a specific interface.

After some code cleanup I intend to publish my state channel solution in a public repository.

Decentralized petition website, made as a final project for the Blockchain Developer Bootcamp Spring 2019 organized by Consensys.

In this dApp an user can create a petition without the need of third party websites like change.org.

Project Description

Study and development of a scaling solution for dApps based on Ethereum blockchain.

This project uses Metamask to authenticate two users that want to interact between each other in a safe way.

A proof of concept has been tested and consist on a chat and a simple battleship game.

The project is being developed to become a full state channel solution based on WebRTC p2p communication for developing decentralized applications.

Project done for the Machine Learning exam.

The project is based on CycleGAN model that allows to learn how to transform an image from one domain (style) to an another using for the training two unpaired dataset. Some additions have been made on the traditional CycleGAN.

The aim of the project was in to be able to transform an human face to a simpson version of it. Most of the time of the project was spent creating and perfecting the Simpson faces dataset and for the training tuning.

For the training phase I used the Google Cloud Service.

Project Description

A hashtag recommender system based on k-means, mini-batch fast k-means and a deep learning feature extraction phase.

The tool developed is a command line interface that takes as input an image and returns a list of hashtags recomandations.

The model built was trained on real data taken from Instagram, for the clustering phase Apache Spark was used for performance reasons.

The project is currently being rewritten for an eventual public release as a service.

Project Description

Universal Plot is a Wolfram Mathematica package developed for the Computational Mathematics exam.

His main feacture is the function “sonification”, or in other words the ability to create a sound that can uniquely describe a given function. It can also be used to provide a textual description of the plot of a function.

Both these features can be useful for blind people to improve learning mathematics.

The package is a wrapper of the Math Description Engine, a Java library developed by Nasa for the MathTrax project.

3 Secrets is a companion app for a boardgame sold by the publisher DaVinci Editrice.

The app includes a timer with some useful functions for the game and consent to track the character card played and share the game result on various social network.

This project was developed using Ionic v1 and Angularjs frameworks and is available on Google Play and AppStore.

3 Secrets is still currently mantained and updated and has thousand of downloads on both platforms.

Project Description

For my bachelor thesis I developed an application to track the flow of bitcoin transactions.

I dealt in particular with the backend part of the application: the data scraping from the blockchain to load the data about bitcoin transactions in a graph database.

The final result was a visual analysis tool focused on forensics transaction analysis.

Android app created together with Dan Rusnac for a mobile programming university exam.

The purpose of the application is to help groups of friends choose films to watch together.

The app allows the creation of groups where you can add, vote, comment on films.

Project Description

I developed a single page application that was used in the development of an CCG card game prototype designed by Martino Chiacchiera and Michele Piccolini.

The application allowed the creation of decks by hovering your cursor on cardimages. The tool was useful for enforcing deckbuilding limits according to the game rules.

After creating a deck, it was possible to export the decklist in text format compatible with an online CCG playground (UnTap), allowing more convenient playtesting.
